About Us
Welcome to Wild Liana - a small farm rooted in nature, knowledge, and care.

Wild Liana is a small farm project based in Finland, inspired by nature, biodiversity, and a slower, more mindful way of living.
Founded by a horticulturist, microbiologist, and registered nutrition professional, the project brings together a lifelong passion for plants, sustainable food production, and respect for the natural world.
On our farm, we grow echinacea and truffles, harvest honey from our beehives, and create products inspired by nature and the changing seasons. Every step is guided by curiosity, continuous learning, and care for the land.
Our dogs are also an inseparable part of life on the farm. They share our daily adventures, accompany us through the seasons, and remind us to appreciate the simple joys of nature.
Wild Liana is more than a farm. It is a journey rooted in nature, knowledge, and the belief that meaningful things are created with patience and care.
How It All Started
One gloomy autumn evening in the sauna, the idea of growing truffles came to us.
Soon after, we purchased a piece of land, and by the following summer young trees inoculated with truffle mycorrhiza were already growing there. What began as a curious idea gradually turned into a long-term project that required patience, continuous learning, and a good dose of optimism.

Of course, the bees soon followed. I have always loved the combination of truffles and honey, so adding beehives to the farm felt like a natural next step.
A few years later, Echinacea purpurea joined the project. Its beauty, resilience, and ability to support biodiversity made it a harmonious addition to Wild Liana.

Now, we no longer have a problem with free time — we simply do not have any!
Farming requires hard work, perseverance, and constant attention. Young trees need to be protected from those who would happily enjoy their tasty branches, the weather brings its own surprises, and every season teaches us something new.
Today, Wild Liana is a small but growing farm project in Finland, built on perseverance, respect for nature and the environment around us, and a passion for gaining new experience.

And perhaps most importantly, a positive attitude and a sense of humour have become an inseparable part of our farm life!
